Who We Are Today

The Ohio Valley Region Model A Ford Club (OVRMAFC) is based in Cincinnati, Ohio and brings together enthusiasts who share a passion for preserving, restoring, and driving Ford Model A automobiles. Founded in 1966, our club serves members throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. OVRMAFC is also one of the most active antique car clubs in the Cincinnati region.

Our Roots: Founded in 1966

Formed in 1966 by seven employees of the Sharonville Ford Plant in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Ohio Valley Region Model “A” Ford Club began as a small group united by a shared interest in the Model A Ford.

Our club was awarded a regional charter from the Model A Restorer’s Club on October 8, 1966, and later received a regional charter from the Model A Ford Club of America on September 27, 1986.

This legacy continues today as we honor the spirit and dedication of those original members.

What Makes Our Club Special

Our membership includes men, women, and families of all ages. You don’t have to own a Model A to join — just bring an interest in the preservation and enjoyment of these historic automobiles.

While we appreciate beautifully restored “show” cars, our club has always emphasized driving. Members are encouraged to bring their cars to meetings and participate in club-sponsored tours throughout the year.

Even the occasional roadside repair becomes part of the story — and often part of the fun. The shared experience of solving problems together builds friendships that extend well beyond the garage.

Our club has always emphasized driving — because Model A’s were built to be enjoyed on the road.
